KRNBRY Studio exists to give voice to underrepresented and multicultural communities across Australia, and to turn their stories into content people can actually learn from.
Documentaries that explain, podcasts that open up conversations, and creative work that builds pride in cultural identity. Anything we earn goes back into making more of it.
A short documentary following rural doctors and culturally diverse health professionals across Victoria. It's currently in progress, with the aim of submitting it to the Australian Youth Film Festival.

Artists, community groups, schools, funders and anyone with a story to tell. We want to hear from you.
And a resource that helps all of Australia learn from its many cultures.
KRNBRY Studio exists to give voice to underrepresented and marginalised communities across Australia through authentic, community-centred storytelling in all its forms.
That includes culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, rural and remote Australians, refugee and asylum seeker communities, and LGBTQIA+ people. We create original work and platform the work of others. Everything we produce is made to be accessible to community, and any surplus goes back into more work, more events and more voices. None of it is distributed to members.
Storytelling is how people learn about each other. Our long-term goal is to build a library of content that teaches, celebrates and connects, so that multicultural communities feel seen and the wider community understands them better.
These are the aims the organisation was set up to pursue. A few are underway. Most are still ahead of us, and we'll grow into them step by step.
An Australian not-for-profit built from lived experience, and a belief that every community's story deserves to be told with care.
Three worlds, one studio. Hover or tap a circle.
KRNBRY Studio sits at the meeting point of medicine, community media and cultural storytelling. The idea is simple: the stories of underrepresented communities deserve to be told with craft, care and real independence.
We want those stories to do more than entertain. We want them to teach. To help a newly arrived family understand the health system, help a classroom understand a culture they haven't met, and help young creators see that their story is worth telling.

Volume 1 is in the works. Over the coming months we're meeting people, taking photos and listening to their stories. Each edition will be printed in a small run and shared free online.

What does belonging mean to you, and where do you find it?
Every edition asks the same question. The answers change with every person, and that's the point.
Long interviews and portraits, told in people's own words.
Short portraits, each with one answer to the big question.
Photo essays from the places where people gather.
Photos, writing and recipes sent in by readers.
Early layouts with placeholder words. The real stories are being gathered now.
We're looking for people of all ages and backgrounds, anywhere in Australia, to feature in the first edition. You don't need to be famous or have a perfect story. You just need to be willing to share yours.
Photographs and films of the people, places and moments we've been lucky enough to capture.
KRNBRY Studio is community-funded and community-driven. Pick what fits you, and be part of it from the start.
